I can now carry everything I need to do a Plein Air painting ( not a sketch) in one average sized backpack I bought at a sports store. Easel ( Strada mini with two side panels), tripod ( Sirius), brushes, oil paints, umbrella, solvent, oil. Set up is a cinch.
i have a bad back, and when I am traveling, or painting in Colorado, parking is sometimes a bit of a hike from a good vantage point, so taking off weight, and having my arms free is very important to me. I am happy to say that I am loving my new set up!
